South African star Mandla Masango has been left out of his Danish side Randers’ squad for their fixture this weekend as the player pushes for an exit from the club.
The Bafana Bafana wing, who is refusing to train with the side, is desperate to switch clubs.
The player’s agent Buddy Farah has been open about the 27-year-old’s desire to leave with the player reportedly hopeful of taking his career to the next level.
‘Mandla is unhappy in Randers and he has begged Randers management to be allowed to change clubs. Aalborg made an offer a few weeks ago and Mandla saw it as an optimal option – both personally and career-wise,’ Farah told KickOff.
Randers, however, have been reluctant to listen to offers for the star.
‘Randers’ leadership has flatly refused to listen to both Aalborg and Mandla, and instead has set a totally unrealistic and ridiculous price tag on him. It’s an amateurish way to run a business,’ Farah continued.
Aalborg are believed to have offered a sum of R5.2-million to secure Masango’s services, but Randers are thought to be demanding R15.6-million for their man.
In the meantime, Masango remains contracted until the end of the upcoming season. Masango made 27 appearances for the club last term.
