Thabo September looks set to take on a coaching role at SuperSport United when his contract expires at the end of the 2016-17 season.
The 33-year-old has made a total 150 appearances for the club since he joined Matsatsantsa in 2006 from Bush Bucks.
With just one year left on his contract, a source close to SoccerLaduma has revealed that upon the expiry of his contract next year, he will take on a coaching role in the youth team.
‘Thabo will be coaching the youth side after his playing contract ends,’ the source said.
‘His contract runs until June next year and its after that, that he will start his new job.’
The source went on to say that September deserves the coaching role, as he is equipped with 10 years experience at the club.
‘He has served the team very well and he deserves the coaching job because he knows the culture of the club which will help the youth,’ the source added.
