Kaizer Chiefs medical team has indicated that captain Siphiwe Tshabalala will return to full training in three weeks’ time.
The 31-year-old veteran has undergone surgery to the knee. The left-footer is presently involved in light training, according to the Kaizer Chiefs website.
Amakhosi forward Camaldine Abraw is scheduled to have a knee operation later this month. The 25-year-old is expected to be out of action for six to nine months.
Meanwhile, the medical team have confirmed that new signing Keagan Buchanan is recovering from his knee injury and is progressing well. The midfielder is expected back in full training in October.
The Amakhosi are currently in a pre-season camp and are expected to return to the Naturena in the next week.
