Portuguese Primeira Liga side Vitoria Guimaraes have expressed an interest in signing South African teenage starlet Luther Singh, according to reports.
Vitoria, who already have a host of young South African talent on their books, are believed to be hot on the heels of Singh following a breakout season at second-tier side Gais.
The 19-year-old netted nine goals in the division last season, but now looks poised to exit the club when his current deal with the Swedish outfit expires in November.
Though Vitoria are believed to be leading the chase for his signature, a host of European sides have reportedly shown interest in Singh, including the likes of Real Madrid, hoping to recruit the player for their academy side.
Singh has excelled both on the wing and as a striker for his current club and is widely considered to be one of the hottest prospects in South African football.
Having only started this season, however, speculation over the bright prospect’s future persists.
