World Cup-winning Springbok captain Siya Kolisi and Proteas captain Faf du Plessis have met Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp in Cape Town.
The Uefa Champions League-winning coach was spotted at Cape Town International Airport after he landed on Tuesday, following Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over Manchester City at Anfield last weekend.
Klopp last visited the Mother City in 2017 as an ambassador for a local soccer charity for children, Joy is Round. He then donated around R188,000 (£10,000) to the Hout Bay United Football Community.
The 52-year-old German mentor is reportedly on holiday in Cape Town during the current Fifa international break.
He was also spotted meeting World Cup-winning Springbok captain Siya Kolisi and Proteas Test skipper Faf du Plessis, who shared a picture of the trio on his Instagram account.
