Free State Stars coach Giovanni Solinas is confident his side can uphold their impressive record against Ajax Cape Town when they meet on Wednesday.

In their Absa Premiership match against Highlands Park, Ea Lla Koto and the Lions of the Lion were forced to share the spoils in a 2-2 draw at Makhulong Stadium last week.

The Ea Lla Koto mentor is confident his side can continue their home record against the Urban Warriors, while Stanley Menzo heads into his first match in charge with a record of 10 losses and three draws in 13 matches at Goble Park.

Meanwhile, midfielders Sinethemba Jantjie and Tholang Lwana, and goalkeeper Christopher Mafoumbi are still unavailable due to injury.

However, Solinas can welcome the return of two key players who have served their suspension against Highlands Park: Bokang Thlone and Nhlanhla Vilakazi.

Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
