Morgan Gould’s manager Glyn Binkin says SuperSport United are preparing to offer the veteran defender a new contract.
The 33-year-old opted to join Matsatsantsa on a one-year deal at the beginning of the 2016-17 season, following an injury-prone career with Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs.
The former Bafana Bafana defender is in impressive form playing for SuperSport under his former coach Stuart Baxter, and has already made nine appearances in all competitions for the Tshwane side this season.
Gould’s manager didn’t comment on his client’s future but remains hopeful that the defender will sign a contract extension with the club.
‘He has been doing well. Let’s wait and see,’ Binkin said.
When the Absa Premiership returns, SuperSport United will take on Baroka at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on 19 November.
Kick-off has been scheduled at 15:30.
