Free State Stars have confirmed that assistant coach Philip Ciccararini has parted ways with the club.

Ea Lla Koto’s decision to release Ciccararini’s from the club comes after Denis Lavagne was sacked as head coach following their poor run of form in the Absa Premiership.

Stars have now appointed Themba Sithole of the club’s development structures as caretaker coach, according to KickOff.com.

An Official at the club has confirmed the departure of Ciccararini and insists that the club will sorting out settlements for both Ciccararini and Lavagne.

‘Ciccararini has also left the club. We’re busy trying to sort out the issue of settlement with both gentlemen,’ an official at Free State Stars said

The new caretaking coach is expected to lead Free State Stars when they face Supersport United in the Absa Premiership on Saturday.
