Free State Stars are on the verge of secure the services of striker Emmanuel Clottey from Ghanaian side Asante Kotoko.
Ea Lla Koto finished the 2015-16 season in 12th place finish on the Absa Premiership table and are looking to bolster their attack ahead of the new season.
According to a source, the 28-year-old is expected to arrive in South Africa next week for pre-season training, reports KickOff.com.
‘Stars are talking to Clottey and he is expected to finalise the deal when he arrives in the country next week,’ says the source.
Stars have been without a coach since Giovanni Solinas left the club to return to Italy for family reasons during the 2015-16 season.
Ea Lla Koto have since announced the appointment of former Cameroon mentor Denis Lavagne as their new head coach.
