Free State Stars have completed the signing of Kenyan defender Joseph Okumu from Kenyan Premier League side Chemelil Sugar.
The 18-year-old has reportedly signed a two-year contract with Ea Lla Koto after agreeing to terms with the club.
A source at Stars said Okumu has been praised as one of the best signings the club has made during the off-season, according to KickOff.com.
‘He spent few days with us training with us and did well to impress the coach,’ the source said.
‘He is a young, talented boy destined for a great future in football.’
The towering young defender has already been capped for the Kenyan national team.
