African champions Mamelodi Sundowns have landed in Hong Kong en-route to their participation in the Fifa Club World Cup in Japan.

Pitso Mosimane and his squad are expected to take a connecting flight from Hong Kong to Osaka at 18:15 local time.

The Brazilians have now made history by being the first South African side to have qualified for the global tournament after being crowned Caf Champions League champions in October.

The African Champions are set to take on the winners in the playoff’s match between host Kashima Antlers and New Zealand side Auckland City on Sunday.

Kick-off has been set for 12:30.
