Mamelodi Sundowns will face Egyptian giants Al Ahly in the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League for the second year running after the draw was concluded on Wednesday evening.
The Brazilians finished top of Group C ahead of Wydad Casablanca to seal their spot in the next round.
Al Ahly finished runners-up in Group B behind Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel, which had them fall into the unseeded teams left in the competition.

The two teams are no strangers after facing each other at the same stage of last season’s edition when Downs famously thrashed the Egyptians 5-0 in Tshwane before Al Ahly restored a little respectability with a 1-0 home win in the second leg.
The first leg of the encounter will take place on 28-29 February, while the decisive leg will be played on 6-7 March.
