The Mamelodi Sundowns brand continues to be showcased on a global stage, with the team jersey making an appearance in New York during the ongoing T20 World Cup.
The latest video shared by Sundowns forms part of a global campaign named ‘Mamelodi Sundowns to the World’, and which has been facilitated through the clubs consultancy partnership with Roc Nation Sports International (RNSI).
Previously, the club’s presence was felt at the iconic Super Bowl LVIII, with American Football fans from both the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers having been seen posing with the Sundowns jersey. This was followed up by a trip to the iconic Wembley Stadium for an international friendly between England and Brazil back in March.
The jersey has now been taken across to New York, where fans shared messages of support during the early stages of the T20 World Cup, which saw the Proteas playing their first three group games in the Big Apple.
On social media, Mamelodi Sundowns reminded followers that it is also less than a year to go until the Brazilians are back in the USA for the FIFA Club World Cup.
