SuperSport United defender Thamsanqa Teyise could be poised for a late switch to Cape Town City ahead of the closing of the transfer window.
Teyise was recently spotted in Cape Town where it is believed he is undergoing trials at the club, reports KickOff.
The player is allegedly impressing on his trial but is still contracted to SuperSport United, despite allegedly having been told he is not in coach Stuart Baxter’s plans this season.
‘He is waiting for the club to make a call but has done well during the trials,’ a source has claimed.
Meanwhile, City coach Eric Tinkler has implied he is likely to make one more signing for his club, who have enjoyed a good start to the season following back-to-back wins over Polokwane City and Kaizer Chiefs in the Premiership and the MTN8 respectively.
Teyise made 30 appearances for SuperSport last term, scoring three times.
