A number of star players from both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns will be missing the Shell Helix Ultra Club due to commitments to their respective national teams.
The Brazilians and the Glamour Boys will come face to face in the exhibition match at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, but both teams will not be at full strength due to players jetting off for their national teams.
In total nine players will miss the encounter, which will allow both Ernst Middendorp and Pitso Mosimane to give a couple of their fringe players a run.

Chiefs will be without Eric Mathoho, who is with Bafana Bafana, as well as Siyabonga Ngezana and Happy Mashiane, who are with South Africa’s U23s in Egypt. Lazarous Kambole will also not be available for Amakhosi as he is away with Zambia.
Themba Zwane, Mosa Lebua and Thapelo Morena are all in the Bafana Bafana squad and will not be available for Downs, while Phakamani Mahlambi is also in Egypt with South Africa’s U23s. Denis Onyango has joined up with the Uganda squad and will also miss the game.
Downs will be looking to retain the trophy they won in the inaugural clash last season but face a Chiefs side who have shown big improvements this season.
