Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala says he is determined to make a big impact for Amakhosi when he returns to full fitness.
The 32-year-old has only featured in two Absa Premiership matches for Amakhosi this season following his recovery from injury.
He recently came on as a substitute in Chiefs’ victories over both Maritzburg United and Highlands Park in the Absa Premiership.
Tshabalala says he is training hard to try and get back to full match fitness in order to help his side continue their recent winning run.
‘I am enjoying my football again,’ Tshabalala said.
‘No player wants to sit on the sidelines. It has been long so I am happy to be back. I am training my way back to my full fitness and once I reach that level I can resume helping the team who are now back to the winning attitude.’
When the Absa Premiership return, Kaizer Chiefs will face Ajax Cape Town at Moses Mabhida Stadium on October 15.
Kick-off has been set for 18:00.
