Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Siphiwe Tshabalala says it is great to be back to winning ways after Amakhosi’s slow start to the 2016-17 season.

The Glamour Boys have now won four consecutive matches in the Absa Premiership and proved too strong for Ajax Cape Town over the weekend following their 2-0 victory over the Urban Warriors at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

The 32-year-old says the team’s performance and results may have improved, but he believes that this is only the start of their aim to build up to what can be better performances.

‘It is great to be back on the winning end of the business. We have been training hard and trying to improve on our performance and grinding results. This though is not the best that we can give, it can get better and that is what we aim to do,’ Tshabalala told his official website.

Kaizer Chiefs will next face Maritzburg United in the Telkom Knockout at the FNB Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off has been scheduled for 20:15.
