Royal Eagles have signed midfielder Nyiko Tshabangu from Free State Stars on a two-year deal.

The Eagles general manager Richard Makhoba confirmed that the midfielder has joined the club, while insists that the National First Division are yet to announce their new arrivals

‘Yes, we have signed Tshabangu from Free State Stars. We will be announcing other new signings very soon,’ Makhoba said.

Tshabangu is one of many players that have left Stars following the prospective sale of its topflight status to Moroka Swallows, reports KickOff.com.

Others players to leave include the likes of Sello Japhta, Justice Chabalala, and Ayanda Nkosi.

However, Makhoba went on to say that Masibusane Zongo is training hard as he tries to revive his career.

‘Zongo is here and training very hard,’ Makhoba added.

Tshabangu could only manage four appearances for Ea Lla Koto last season netting one goal in all competitions.
