Nigerian midfielder Ejike Uzoenyi looks set to join Bidvest Wits after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old has now become a free against following his departure from the Brazilians and is free to join any club.

However, a source has revealed that the Nigerian midfielder has begun training with the Clever Boys in the hopes of earning a professional contract with Gavin Hunt’s side.

‘Ejike is now a free agent and is free to join any team of his choice. He started training with Wits today,’ a source told KickOff.com.

Meanwhile, Hunt has already been busy during the transfer window having signed  Granwald Scott as a free agent from SK Slovan Bratislava, whilst Thato Tlhone joins the Students on a pre-contract.
