AmaZulu co-coach Vusimuzi Vilakazi has urged his side to become more clinical as they look for their first win in the Betway Premiership.
Usuthu suffered their four straight defeat in the league following their 2-1 loss to Orlando Pirates at the Orlando Stadium this past weekend.
The Durban-based outfit will look to bounce back when they take on Chippa United at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Vilakazi’s side currently find themselves at the bottom of the league standings with zero points after four matches.
“I strongly feel that the two goals we conceded were just a gift from us,” Vilakazi told his club’s official website.
“We lost the ball in our half and they countered against us.
“We tried to build from the back and we gave the ball away.
“There’s nothing wrong with building from the back but we need to make sure we’re clinical in coming out and that was a challenge for us.
“I believe we came back very strongly and we tried to dominate the game and create opportunities. We didn’t create much, but it looked better in the second half.”
