Uruguayan club Montevideo City Torque have bid Marcelo Allende farewell after confirming the forward will join Mamelodi Sundowns.
Montevideo confirmed the news on their social media accounts on Monday night and, although Sundowns are yet to confirm a deal in an official announcement, it is thought to be imminent.

The Brazilians have been linked to the forward throughout the window and secured a deal for their main target, adding to the signings of Ronwen Williams and Sipho Mbule, Ethiopian international Abubeker Nassir and Moroccan defender Abdelmounaim Boutouil.
