Polokwane City striker Rodney Ramagalela insists the club is ready to break records in the 2016-17 Absa Premiership season.
Last season, Rise and Shine could only manage to secure a 13th place finish in the Absa Premiership last season and six points above the relegation zone.
However, Ramagalela expects his side to impress under new coach Luc Eymael during the 2016-17 season.
‘We are ready enough looking at how we prepared from first day of pre-season until now. The team looks sharp and ready to break records,’ Ramagalela told the Polokwane City website.
The 27-year-old featured in a total of 20 appearances for Golden Arrows while scoring two goals in all competitions last season.
Polokwane City will open their Absa Premiership campaign against Cape Town City at Cape Town Stadium on Tuesday.
Kick-off has been set for 19:30.
