Mpumalanga Black Aces midfielder Aubrey Ngoma explains what Orlando Pirates’ players can expect from new head coach Muhsin Ertugral.
On Tuesday, the Buccaneers announced that the 56-year-old will replace Eric Tinkler as head coach of Pirates.
Ertugral, a former Kaizer Chiefs mentor, guided Aces to fourth place in the Absa Premiership last season, their highest ever finish in the PSL, reports KickOff.com.
Ngoma explained what Ertugral will expect from his players when he joins the club on July 1.
‘He is a disciplinarian. He is a very professional coach and dedicated to his job,’ Ngoma said.
‘He is a nice person off the field but on the field he expects 100 percent commitment from his players.
‘If Pirates’ players understand what he wants on the field they will enjoy working with him.
‘He is a great coach, great tactician. We did well at Aces last season and it was sad to see him leaving as I was looking forward to work with him again next season,’ he added.
During the 2015-16 season under Ertugral, Ngoma has scored three goals and created three assists from 23 appearances for Aces in all competitions.
