Bidvest Wits did enough to secure a 2-0 win on the road at Baroka in midweek PSL action.

Midfielder Thabang Monare opened the scoring the sixth minute after following up on Daine Klate’s missed penalty following a foul on Eleazar Rodgers.

The visitors dominated the first half as Baroka relied on their goalkeeper to keep themselves in the contest and within a goal of snatching a point in the contest.

The second continued in the same vain as the first half as Baroka struggled to deal with the consistent Wits side and how Gaving Hunt’s men controlled the fixture before Sifiso Myeni and Cuthbert Malajila were thrown on to try secure the win with a second goal.

Malajila made it two in injury time as Wits moved level with Orlando Pirates after three matches.
