Chippa United striker David Zulu believes he is progressing well this season under the guidance of coach Dan Malesela.
The 30-year-old will be hoping to regain his form after scoring his first goal of the season against Baroka during their 4-1 win last month.
Zulu says he is feeling more confident about his game after scoring his first goal and he will be hoping to improve his performance this season.
‘I am feeling good about my game, it is progressing and I am not worried at all,’ Zulu told the Chippa United website.
‘It felt good to grab my first (goal) of the season against Baroka. We played a good game and the movement was good that night.
‘It is my job as a striker to score goals. The goal has helped boost my confidence, and I am looking forward to picking up from that, and do even better for the club this season. We all believe as players that we can improve and make this a season to remember in the history of the club.’
The former Kaizer Chiefs forward says his side have to prepare and concentrate on their next Absa Premiership clash against Arrows.
‘We must forget about our results in Polokwane and focus on the next game. Golden Arrows will be a different ball game,’ he added.
Chippa United travel to Princess Magogo Stadium on Saturday when they take on Golden Arrows in the Absa Premiership.
Kick-off has been set for 15:30.
