The Sharks’ 17-12 upset victory against the undefeated Western Province in the Currie Cup final is one of SportsClub‘s memorable moments of 2018.

WP were odds-on favourites to retain the Currie Cup against the same opposition they defeated in the 2017 final, but a great defensive display by the Sharks saw the team from KwaZulu-Natal secure a famous victory at Newlands.
