Vodacom Bulls CEO Alfons Meyer hopes the union can keep its Springbok players beyond 2019.
The contracts of Jesse Kriel, Handré Pollard, Lood de Jager and Trevor Nyakane will all expire at the end of October.
The future of Duane Vermeulen, who still has a contract in Japan, is also uncertain, as the Japanese league is set for a restructure in 2020.
In an interview with Netwerk24, Meyer said the Bulls were awaiting further developments before making any moves.
‘If players get an offer, we have a time frame of two weeks to make a counter-offer,’ Meyer said. ‘Up until now, there have not been any offers that have been brought to our attention.’
