The Vodacom Bulls have confirmed the signing of loose forward Celimpilo Gumede from the Cell C Sharks.
The 22-year-old is set to turn out for the Pretoria outfit for the 2023-24 season after parting ways with the Sharks.
Gumede struggles to cement his place in the Sharks’ Vodacom United Rugby Championship side but was a regular in their Currie Cup squad.
The former Junior Springbok has now become the Bulls’ fifth new signing behind Sebastian de Klerk, speedster Sergeal Petersen, utility back Jaco van der Walt and tighthead prop Khutha Mchunu.
“The Bulldozing Celimpilo Gumede is officially a Vodacom Bull Welcome to Loftus, big guy,” Bulls confirmed on Twitter.
