Warren Whiteley and Aphiwe Dyantyi will start for the Golden Lions in Saturday’s semi-final against the Sharks in Durban.
Whiteley has recovered from a groin injury that saw him miss the last two Tests of the Rugby Championship, and he will start at No 8 in place of Hacjivah Dayimani.
Meanwhile, Dyantyi comes on to the left wing, which sees Courtnall Skosan shift to No 14, while Wandisile Simelane drops to the bench.
Although Boks Franco Mostert and Malcolm Marx have trained with the Lions this week, their game exposure is being managed, and the duo will not feature this Saturday.
