New Zealand-born back Jason Emery has hit out at his Japanese side, the Sanix Blues, saying he hopes to never have such an experience again after seemingly being forced out of the club.
Emery’s statement comes amid talk that another top Japanese club will be looking to cut squad size and reduce contracts with foreign players from next season.
Emery, who has played for the Sunwolves and Sanix Blues since 2018, said he wanted to stay in Japan, but intimated that his time had unwillingly ‘come to an end’ at the Munakata-based team.
