Coach Chean Roux has made just one injury-enforced change to the Junior Boks’ starting lineup for Tuesday’s semi-final against England.
Lock Salmaan Moerat replaces Hendre Stassen in the run-on side, with the latter falling out of the match 23 due to a knee injury.
On the bench, prop Lee-Marvin Mazibuko replaces Wikus Groenewald, who has the flu, and lock Reinhard Nothnagel takes Moerat’s spot among the reserves.
‘We looked at England’s strengths and we think these are the best combinations for us for the semi-final,’ Roux said about his team selection.
‘England are a physical side and they are full of confidence. They are the defending champions as well. That said, our plans are in place as a team and we just need to go out there and execute it.’
The match kicks off at 16:00 (SA time).
