Jérôme Garcès will referee Saturday’s match between the Springboks and All Blacks at Newlands.

It was Garcès who red-carded Sonny Bill Williams during the second Test between the All Blacks and British & Irish Lions in Wellington, which the tourists went on to win 24-21.

Frenchman Romain Poite and Japan’s Shuhei Kubo will be Garcès’ assistant referees on Saturday, with England’s Rowan Kitt the TMO.

Another Frenchman, Mathieu Raynal, will be in charge of the match between Argentina and Australia in Mendoza.
