The Sharks team named to take on the Bulls shows just one change in the backline for their match at Loftus Versfeld on Saturday.
Coach Sean Everitt has been able to field an almost identical starting lineup to the one he used in their two previous outings against the Stormers and Lions, respectively.
The only personnel change this week, is the inclusion of scrumhalf Jaden Hendrikse at the expense of Grant Williams.
Hendrikse’s return to the starting side means Williams gets a break and Sanele Nohamba will play off the bench.
With two bonus-point victories so far – over the Stormers and Lions – the Sharks lead the standings, and they will want to keep that record intact in Pretoria on Saturday.
‘With the freedom we’re given to play, decision-making becomes crucially important,’ flyhalf Curwin Bosch said.
‘That’s knowing when to run and when to kick and with all the hard work put in with that in mind, hopefully we can put in the perfect performance this weekend.’
Sharks – 15 Aphelele Fassi, 14 Sbu Nkosi, 13 Lukhanyo Am (c), 12 Jeremy Ward, 11 Yaw Penxe, 10 Curwin Bosch, 9 Jaden Hendrikse, 8 Sikhumbuzo Notshe, 7 Henco Venter, 6 Siya Kolisi, 5 Reniel Hugo, 4 Ruben van Heerden, 3 Thomas du Toit, 2 Fez Mbatha, 1 Ox Nche. Replacements: 16 Kerron van Vuuren, 17 Ntuthuko Mchunu, 18 Wiehahn Herbst, 19 Le Roux Roets, 20 Phepsi Buthelezi, 21 Sanele Nohamba, 22 Manie Libbok, 23 Werner Kok.
The Cell C Sharks team named to travel to Pretoria to take on the Vodacom Bulls on Saturday shows just one change to the matchday 23 as the team continues to build momentum in playing personnel in the Rainbow Cup SA competition.
