Springbok lock Marvin Orie will join French Top 14 outfit Perpignan next season on a two-year deal.
The Stormers’ Orie, 30 years old, started Saturday’s Rugby Championship victory over Australia but will not play against New Zealand next weekend.
He is likely to play for his country at this year’s Rugby World Cup in France, which concludes on October 28.
“Perpignan confirm the signing of the South African second row for two years,” they said on Twitter.
“He will join his teammates after fulfilling his commitments with the Springboks.”
