Uzair Cassiem has been ruled out of the Springboks’ match against the All Blacks at Newlands on Saturday.

The No 8 left the field with a rib injury in the 19th minute of the 27-27 draw against the Wallabies in Bloemfontein.

If needed, a replacement player will be called up in due course.

Meanwhile, prop Wilco Louw has been released to play for Western Province against the Blue Bulls in a Currie Cup match on Sunday afternoon in Pretoria. Louw will rejoin the Boks later on the same day in Cape Town.
