Wallabies fullback Israel Folau is still a doubt for their Rugby Championship clash against the Springboks in Brisbane on Saturday.
Folau rolled his ankle in the first Bledisloe Cup Test, ruling him out of the return match in Auckland where the Australians suffered a heavy defeat.
The 29-year-old has been running on his ankle at the Wallabies’ training base in the Gold Coast but is still not confident he will be fit to face the Boks.
‘At this stage, I’d probably say it’s a 50-50, only had one run and that was on Friday,’ he said. ‘I guess I’ll know more as the week goes on.
‘It’s been a tough couple of weeks in terms of the way we’ve been playing. That’s obviously very clear,’ Folau added. ‘It’s going to be another tough game on the weekend but we’ve had some really good games there in the past and that’s obviously going to help us going into this week.’
