Eben Etzebeth says the Springboks will try to expose the All Blacks’ lineout when they clash in Wellington on Saturday.
The Springboks come into the game on the back of two defeats to Argentina and Australia.
Etzebeth says they will need to be far more clinical against opponents who won’t present many opportunities to score.
‘I think a few calls did not go our way [against the Wallabies]. It is actually up to us. There are things we have worked on this week and hopefully, we can improve this weekend.
‘We need to take our chances and use our opportunities. We are just trying to focus on our game and adapt here and there.’
Etzebeth claimed the Springboks had done their homework on the All Blacks lineout and will look to poach possession.
‘Every game is a new challenge. We always analyse every team we are playing against. Each team has its own strengths.
‘We have analysed the New Zealand lineout and that is something we are looking to expose. They have good jumpers, good individual players and they have worked well together as a group.’
