Conraad van Vuuren has been slapped with a three-match ban for his dangerous tackle on Damian McKenzie in Hamilton on Saturday.

The Bulls prop received a yellow card in the 67th minute, but the citing commissioner believed the incident met the threshold for a red card.

The 22-year-old will therefore miss the Bulls’ matches against the Crusaders (23 March), Stormers (31 March) and Sharks (14 April).
