Francois Venter suffered a hamstring tear last weekend which could rule him out of the Cheetahs’ match against the Sunwolves in Tokyo on Saturday.
Venter had to leave the field in the 22nd minute of the Cheetahs’ away game against the Hurricanes and it has since been confirmed that he sustained a grade 1 hamstring tear. The 26-year-old captain will undergo a fitness test later in the week to determine his availability for selection.
