The Stormers have made four changes to their starting lineup for Saturday’s match against the Waratahs in Sydney.
Lock Pieter-Steph du Toit (back) and fullback SP Marais (toe) both missed last weekend’s 28-20 win against the Jaguares due to injury.
As a result, Dillyn Leyds shifts from No 15 to the right wing, with JJ Engelbrecht coming in at outside centre and EW Viljoen moving to the bench. Winger Seabelo Senatla is being rested due to a heavy pre-season workload.
Du Toit will partner JD Schickerling in the second row, with Chris van Zyl dropping to the substitutes, where he is joined by Sikhumbuzo Notshe.
Kobus van Dyk will start at blindside flank instead of Cobus Wiese, who falls out of the match 23.
Stormers – 15 SP Marais, 14 Dillyn Leyds, 13 JJ Engelbrecht, 12 Damian de Allende, 11 Raymond Rhule, 10 Damian Willemse, 9 Dewaldt Duvenage, 8 Nizaam Carr, 7 Kobus van Dyk, 6 Siya Kolisi (c), 5 Pieter-Steph du Toit, 4 JD Schickerling, 3 Wilco Louw, 2 Ramone Samuels, 1 Steven Kitshoff.
Subs: 16 Dean Muir, 17 JC Janse van Rensburg, 18 Carlu Sadie, 19 Chris van Zyl, 20 Sikhumbuzo Notshe, 21 Justin Phillips, 22 George Whitehead, 23 EW Viljoen.
