Bulls high performance manager Xander Janse van Rensburg has confirmed that Rassie Erasmus and his management will provide input as the Pretoria-based franchise looks to fill vacant positions.

The Bulls head towards 2019 without having confirmed successors for former head coach John Mitchell and outgoing chief executive Barend van Graan.

It’s been suggested that Erasmus will help in an advisory capacity until a permanent replacement coach is found, with Van Graan touching on the subject at a press conference on Thursday.

‘Rassie and his management staff will help us as we finalise our appointments, and be responsible to just oversee and facilitate the process to ensure we stay on track … They will be available after the Bok end-of-year tour.’

Janse van Rensburg also confirmed that the Bulls hope to announce the signing of Bok hooker Schalk Brits ‘in the next few days’.
