Lock Andries Ferreira will start for the Lions in their match against the Jaguares at Ellis Park on Saturday.

Ferreira was initially named to start against the Sharks last weekend, but he withdrew from the match before kick off. He is back in the starting lineup at the expense of Marvin Orie, who drops out of the match 23.

Unlike last week, coach Swys de Bruin has opted to include a recognised back-up scrumhalf – Marco Jansen van Vuren – on the bench. If he comes onto the field, Jansen van Vuren will make his Super Rugby debut.
