Springbok fullback Warrick Gelant has been ruled out for up to two months due to a shoulder injury.
Gelant started in the Bulls’ last Super Rugby game of the season against the Lions two weeks ago and was included in the Springbok training squad.
But he has since suffered a shoulder knock and will subsequently be out of action for two months.
This means that the fullback will be unavailable for the majority of the Springboks’ Rugby Championship campaign.
This news comes after wingers S’bu Nkosi (ankle) and Travis Ismaiel (shoulder) were also ruled out.
