Former France international Clément Poitrenaud will start at fullback for the Sharks against the Brumbies in Canberra on Saturday.
Coach Robert du Preez has opted for continuity ahead of the Sharks’ round two clash, making only two changes to the side that lost to the Reds.
In the backline, the 34-year-old Poitrenaud replaces youngster Curwin Bosch at fullback, with the latter dropping to the bench.
The only other personnel swap is enforced, with Springbok lock Stephan Lewies starting in the absence of the suspended Etienne Oosthuizen.
SUPER RUGBY PREVIEW: (Round 2, Part 1)
Lwazi Mvovo, who played his 100th Super Rugby match last week, says while the Sharks have done their homework on the Brumbies, it’s really about making sure they accomplish their own goals.
‘The Brumbies are a quality side and they played very well against the Crusaders, but it’s more about what we want to do and about executing our game plan.
‘This is a very important game for us, we have a plan for this tour and we pretty much want to win this match, so it’s about getting our game plan right and getting over the little hurdle we had in the first game.’
