Handré Pollard has returned from the Vodacom Bulls’ Australasian tour after suffering a calf injury in training during the week.
The Bulls captain is set to miss the final three games of their tour against the Brumbies, Blues and Highlanders. The Bulls will then face the Lions in Pretoria in their final conference clash.
Duane Vermeulen will wear the captain’s armband against the Brumbies this weekend – and presumably for the rest of the tour.
Pollard’s place in the No 10 jersey will be taken by Manie Libbok, with 22-year-old JT Jackson the other flyhalf on tour.
