Springbok superstar Cheslin Kolbe has interestingly signed an ambassadorship deal with a golf company in Japan that aims to support his social outreach initiatives.
On Tuesday, Value Golf – a Japanese golf and travel business – stated that they are pleased to announce an ambassador contract with double World Cup winner Kolbe.
Kolbe – who is represented by world renowned agency Roc Nation Sports International – was a member of the victorious South African squad at the 2023 and 2019 Rugby World Cup tournaments, and has been playing for the Japan Rugby League One’s Tokyo Suntory Sungoliath since this season.
“Value Golf aims to support Kolbe’s activities in Japan and promote projects that contribute to society,” a statement read.
“Our company, guided by the business philosophy of ‘bringing to life what people want to do’, adheres to the action principle of being ‘environmentally and socially friendly – always complying with social norms and contributing to the global environment’.
