Bafana Bafana striker Lebo Mothiba is aiming to put his injuries woes behind him by signing a new multimillion-rand contract with his French club, Racing Strasbourg, before securing a loan move for the rest of the season.
The Bafana striker will be leaving in search of game time as he looks to regain the form he was displaying before his series of injuries and spend the second half of the season at ESTAC Troyes after the two clubs agreed a deal.

With the 25-year-old signing a new deal, keeping him on the books of the French giants until June 30, 2024, an option to buy has not been added.
Mothiba will be hoping to get back on the pitch, with the comfort of having his long-term future secured, and focus on putting his knee problems behind him.
The Bafana star will be earning a reported €14,424 (±R250,000) per week salary, which equates to approximately R12 million a season.
