Cape Town City cruised into the Carling Knockout Cup quarter-finals after claiming a 3-0 victory over Royal AM at Athlone Stadium.

The Citizens clinched their spot in the next round of the competition thanks to goals from Amadou Soukouna, Jaedin Rhodes and Jody Ahshene.
