AmaZulu midfielder Rowan Human says playing Stellenbosch FC in the Carling Knockout Cup is the “perfect” challenge for the club.
The Durban-based outfit were drawn against defending champions Stellies in the opening round of the competition.
The attacking midfielder has been ever-present in the Usuthu squad and has featured in all three of their Betway Premiership fixtures so far.
Human wants his side to use this fixture as a challenge to test themselves against one of the best teams in the Betway Premiership.
“Definitely a very good draw, Stellenbosch is a team that’s in a good moment currently, they are doing very well,” Human told his club’s official website.
“In the last eight months, they’ve been a very good team and they are competing in CAF now so it’s going to be a good challenge.”
“This is the perfect game for us to challenge and we’re going to try our best to go all the way in this game and the tournament.
“It’s all about being patient with yourself.”
