Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has made four changes to his side ahead of their upcoming Caf Champions League semi-final clash with Zesco United.
Sundowns are currently 2-1 down after the first leg of the tie but having netted a crucial away goal they will be hopeful of turning the fixture around when they play in front of their own supporters on Saturday.
In the meantime, Mosimane has had to balance the demands of his squad as the game marks what will be their fifth competitive fixture in the last two weeks.
‘On Saturday we will have a different team, with about four players falling off from the team and we are bringing four up,’ Mosimane told the media, reports KickOff.
The coach admitted he has also had injury problems within his squad to contend with and that their current involvement in both the MTN8 and Caf has affected their start to the new Premiership season.
‘I need to manage the team and the difference is in getting the team to play the same way with different personnel. What makes it difficult is that we never had a pre-season. They [the new players] must understand the philosophy – that is the challenge,’ he added.
Mosimane concluded by insisting he is confident his players will achieve victory and has encouraged them to remain positive.
The match against Zesco will be live from the Lucas Moripe Stadium at 19:00.
